As mentioned in Life Well Lived in Rural Vermont, in July I went on a trip with my family.
I don’t think I’ve ever shared this (apologies if that’s a lie) but my family and I all love to cook! We each have certain specialties. When we went to Vermont we had lunch out a few times, however for dinner each night we’d come home after the days activities and make our own meals from scratch.
These images are lovely to me in many ways – I do like the colors and tones on display but it also serves as a reminder of how beautiful a meal shared with your family can be.
My favorite meal was the steak dinner that we made on the second night followed by the salmon from the third night and the chicken and broccoli coming in third – though it was quite good still.
