Extremes Of The Colombia River Gorge
The Story: These images were taken around the same area of the Colombia River Gorge. The thing that amazes me is that these two images represent vast differences in the natural environment of a world plagued by climate change. One of them a lush water-fall the other – the burnt and ashen covered bark after the gorge was raged by forest fires the year before.
